HELLFOX ALLARGA LA LINE-UP: ILENIA MASCIS ALLA CHITARRA
Importanti novità in casa HELLFOX: la band compie un deciso passo avanti e amplia ufficialmente la propria formazione.
Dopo il debutto dello scorso weekend al Metal Witches Festival di Abbiategrasso, le Hellfox si presentano ora come quintetto, accogliendo tra le proprie fila la chitarrista Ilenia Mascis. La formazione originale resta salda e intatta, ma si arricchisce di una nuova energia che porta il progetto a un livello superiore.
Giovanissima ma già attiva nella scena con i Nefarious, Ilenia Mascis entra come chitarrista turnista, contribuendo in modo significativo all’evoluzione del sound della band. L’aggiunta di una seconda chitarra dona maggiore profondità e impatto: il risultato è un suono più compatto, potente e tagliente, capace di creare un vero e proprio muro sonoro.
Questo cambio di assetto arriva in un momento chiave, a ridosso dell’uscita del secondo album della band. I nuovi brani, già portati sul palco, acquistano ora una dimensione ancora più solida e incisiva.
Il pubblico presente al Metal Witches Festival ha avuto modo di assistere in anteprima a questa evoluzione: il debutto della nuova line-up, con le Hellfox in veste di headliner, ha confermato l’efficacia della formazione a cinque elementi, accolta con grande entusiasmo.
Per chi si fosse perso questo esordio, o per chi ha semplicemente voglia di ributtarsi nel pit, l’appuntamento è già fissato. La prossima occasione per vedere la band e la nuova chitarrista in azione sarà il 17 maggio al Live Music Club di Trezzo sull’Adda (MI), in occasione dell’attesissima Adunata di Feudalesimo e Libertà.

HELLFOX is an ALL FEMALE alternative metal (alt-metal) band with melodic death tendencies. Despite the four completely different musical backgrounds, we share a common inspiration to Amorphis, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity as far as composition is concerned, while for the choice of sounds it was our intention to move away from the Symphonic, recognizably feminine scenario to include acid and distorted synths so that we could create modern atmospheres that more closely met our tastes and better married the pop timbre of the melodic vocals. The dualism of HELLFOX is not meant to be understood on a conflicting level, it is instead the result of different voices within the human soul, different faces if you will, that mingle and generate the person itself, in its entirety, that although they seem to struggle, they coexist and create harmony and balance. We don’t use masks to conform to a mass, nor do we want to stand out at all costs, we just want to be ourselves in a society where normality is only a surface, the abyss instead is made up of so many facets of personality, both for the group and especially for the individual human being. Ours is a message within everyone’s reach, in which one can recognize oneself: that little voice in the head that either draws you in or drives you away… Because for us nothing is normal, nothing is different.
