La domanda è: può nel 2025 avere ancora un senso un disco grind? A quasi 40 anni dalla nascita del movimento i Golem Of Gore pubblicano un album di 18 tracce tra intro, interlude e outro di feroce goregrind, che nulla aggiunge e nulla toglie alla storia del genere, ma lo fanno con perizia e affidabilità per chi ciba le orecchie di cotanto caos sonoro. E questa non è cosa da poco perchè comunque arrivano anche dischi totalmente inascoltabili.
Purezza stilistica, crudezza sonora, credibilità tanto basta per fare di ‘Ultimo Mondo Cane‘ un album credibile e non la goffa proposizione di cose sentite mille mila volte. Posso aggiungere che ci sono anche rallentamenti interessanti tra i vari brani, non tutti hanno la ferocia tipica del genere, ovviamente blast beats a profusione e tanta carne al fuoco per gli appassionati del genere. Chi ama far sanguinare i timpani ha cibo a volontà!
