Lyrically, “We Are Tyrants” explores power, domination and the endless hunger of those who rule from above, wrapped in a deliberately dark and imposing tone. The track marks the first step towards “Empire”, with further new music and details surrounding the album to be revealed over the coming months.
Commenting on the release, Grym Hünter – Lead Vocals & Rhythm Guitar – states:
“‘We Are Tyrants’ felt like the right song to open this new chapter.
It is direct, powerful and immediately shows part of the attitude we wanted to bring into ‘Empire’. After everything that happened behind the scenes over the last few years, finally being able to share new music with everyone makes this release particularly important for us. And this is only the beginning.”
