“Voices From Nowhere” is the new AydrA song, out on October 23, 2026. It closes the story told in Leave to Nowhere: the journey of a migrant from Eritrea to Europe, an album that ends with him digging his own grave. This song is the voice of what is left.
Three guests play on the song: Mick Montaguti of Electrocution sings on it and co-wrote the lyrics with Mauro Pacetti. Tommy Talamanca of Sadist plays the first guitar solo. Francesco Olivi, AydrA lead guitarist from 1992 to 2007 and the composer of many songs on “Icon of Sin” and “Hyperlogical Non-sense” («Icon of Sin», «Lost Time Fury», «Inside the Insane Man» and more) plays the second solo, coming back to work on an AydrA song after almost twenty years.
The cover is an original painting by Luca Morici, the artist behind Delirio — the artwork of “Leave to Nowhere” — and the covers of the Russian and Panamanian reissues of Icon of Sin. Painted by hand with a palette knife: no AI, no filters.
The full playthrough video is out on October 23rd as well. The lyric video follows on November 6th, edited by Mick Montaguti from the plates of the “Leave to Nowhere” comic.
The graphic novel
“Leave to Nowhere” is not only a record. Luca Morici drew the whole story in ink: three plates for every song, and a painting opening each chapter. The three below hold the arc — the village, the desert, the grave the man digs for himself. That is where “Voices From Nowhere” begins. The full book is out this year.
