I BERIEDIR tornano con il nuovo singolo “Diva”, disponibile da oggi per Rockshots Records insieme al videoclip ufficiale.
Dopo l’uscita di “Liminal Spaces” nel 2025, la formazione italiana prosegue il proprio percorso musicale fondendo influenze progressive metal, alternative metal e sonorità più pesanti e aggressive.

“Diva” mette in luce il lato più diretto e provocatorio della band, direttamente influenzato da band come Rammstein e Machine Head. Il testo affronta la frustrazione di chi si sente giudicato e criticato da persone incapaci di comprendere realmente le situazioni su cui esprimono le proprie opinioni. Il ritornello, scandito dall’espressione “Chin high” (a testa alta), rivendica il diritto di essere sé stessi, anche a costo di essere giudicati dagli altri.
Il testo è firmato dal cantante Stefano Nüsperli mentre la musica è frutto del lavoro di tutti e cinque i componenti della band.
Nel corso degli anni, il sound dei BERIEDIR si è evoluto passando da un progressive metal prevalentemente melodico a sonorità più oscure e aggressive, caratterizzate da un maggiore utilizzo di voci estreme e arrangiamenti più pesanti. Un’evoluzione emersa con particolare evidenza in “Liminal Spaces” e che prosegue con “Diva” in cui il progressive metal della band si arricchisce di influenze alternative metal, ritornelli melodici e sonorità più graffianti senza perdere le atmosfere evocative che ne contraddistinguono lo stile.
“Diva” è stato prodotto e registrato da Stefano Nüsperli presso i Lighthouse Studio mentre mixaggio e mastering sono stati curati da Simone Mularoni presso i Domination Studio. L’artwork del singolo è stato realizzato da Nadia Sampellegrini.
Con “Diva”, i BERIEDIR aggiungono un nuovo tassello alla propria evoluzione artistica, proponendo un brano che unisce intensità, melodia e profondità emotiva.

BIOGRAPHY:
With their first EP ‘The Line’ (2015) and their first album ‘The Path Beyond The Moon’ (2018) the band takes its first steps in the local scene of their hometown playing in both small venues and bigger festivals like Fosch Fest (with Korpiklaani, At The Gates and Fleshgod Apocalypse). But the first real acceleration happens right after the pandemic, with their second full release ‘AQVA’ (2022) that gives them the opportunity to play in bigger venues nation-wide, alongside bands like Stratovarius, Elegy, Trick Or Treat and many more.
With their third album ‘Liminal Spaces’ (2025) and a stylistic change that positions them in a more modern and alternative setting, things take a sudden turn resulting into a long series of successful shows that grow the band’s attention to new levels, taking their music to wider audiences in bigger festivals.
The sound of the band is mirrored by their unique show and stage presence, consisting of white outfits, solemn and grandiose movements and an overall angelic and celestial aura, collapsing from immense choruses into earth-shattering breakdowns, delivering the same gravitas of the soul-crushing lyrics typical of this band.
